Our next stop was Yosemite National Park to the north of Sequoia National Park.
The most visited place in the park is Yosemite Valley: around 4-5 million visitors per year.
We arrived on Saturday morning and all the parking places were already full,
so we had to drive in circles for about an hour looking for a place to park.
In the late spring, the snow starts to melt in the higher mountains and powers the waterfalls.
The Merced river running through the park was flooded and some areas were closed.
