Our drive was fast and uneventful and we've settled in our apartment once we got there.
Like in Zurich, our apartment had automated check-in - there was a safe near to the apartment,
and the agency had emailed us a password for the safe a day before.
Inside the safe was the key for apartment - and no need to wait for anybody
From the City Hall we went to Austrian Parliament.
And then to Folksgarten.

There are a lot of free drinking water stands in Vienna - quite handy in the hot weather.
The only modern building in Vienna old city center - Haas House.
It is considered controversial, some people like it, another hate it
Also we walked in the city park - Stadtpark. Here, as well as in other parks in Vienna, are a lot of benches.
Vienna Opera. Unfortunately the season was over in August and we didn't get in.
Close to the Opera there is Hotel Sacher, in its cafe they serve original Sacher Cake.
We went to the Naschmarkt not far away from the Opera.
It's the biggest market in Vienna. The market was here since XVIII century.
For lunch we went to the mediterranean cafe - falafel, humus and pita.

There is also a monument to soviet soldiers in Vienna.
There was a heron on the sculpture.
Around the palace was some exhibitions of statues from Chinese horoscope - Dog, Horse, Dragon, etc.
And the concrete Snowman.
