Tokyo, Japan

Having rested from the moving and finished with all formalities, we went for a walk around our new home. First we went to the Imperial Palace, which is located in the center of Tokyo in the district of Chiyoda.
Along the way we found National Theater of Japan, where the Sakura Festival was going. There were a lot of sakura trees blooming.
After Shinjuku I went to Meiji Shrine, the Shinto shrine that is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. There is also a big park and a forest around the shrine.
After that I visited Yoyogi park nearby. There are a lot of blossoming sakura trees here and many companies celebrate o-hanami - the Japanese festival of admiring the sakura blossoming.
