Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

Not far away from Phuket, where we settled, located Phi Phi islands. That's where we went for a boat trip with a company called Offspray Leisure, they've got best reviews on the Internet.
The trip takes about 6-7 hours on a speed boat. Together with us there were about 15 other people, mostly americans
Maya Bay has a famous beach, where movie "The Beach" with Di Caprio was filmed. This beach is in fact so famous, that it was too overcrowded. Our guide decided not to stop there and to go further.
For lunch we stopped at a small wild beach where a picnic was set up for us. In the bay of this beach there were tiny baby reef-sharks swimming. Our captain assured everybody that they don't bite people and decided to feed them with some leftovers from the picnic
Our next stop should have been Monkey Island. It's actually just a bay at the north of the island where lots of monkeys live. But due to low tide our boat was unable to come close to the beach and it was way overcrowded as well, so we just watched the monkeys from far away and went further.
Our last stop was snorkeling at Ko Mai Thon island, not far away from Phuket.
We enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend to visit Phi-Phi!
