We stayed in Munich for a couple of days at our friends, who moved there from Düsseldorf.
First thing we visited was Olympic park and BMW museum. We didn't go inside the museum, just visited free exhibition around it.

After museum we went on top of the tower in the Olympic park.
There is an open observation deck without windows or nets from where you can see entire city.
Munich doesn't have much high rise buildings, but has a lot of parks.
Olympic village where sportsmen lived in the 1972 Olympic Games.

For lunch we went to a restaurant nearby the main train station.
Mostly traditional German food.
After lunch we went for a walk around the old city. There was nothing surprising here in Munich - as in other european cities there is a City Hall and a few churches.
Many buildings were closed for renovation.
On our way back home we walked near the river. There were a lot of people on the beach sunbathing and grilling.
