After the breakfast we went for a walk to San Miguel market.
It’s not a usual farmers market. Mostly they sell tapas here and there are few bars open till late at night.

The city has a lot of hills and for untrained bikers (like us) it would be hard to go around. We’ve visited the park near to the palace once more.

Toledo gates. Part of the wall, which was surrounding Madrid once.
Atocha train station. In March 2004 it became a target of a terrorist attack. Bombing in 4 trains killed 191 people and wounded around 1,800.
Part of the train station was turned into tropical park dedicated to the victims of the attack.
Turtles are living in the pond.

After the train station we visited Retiro Park nearby.

Tapas there are very good.
But a bit pricey.
