On the weekend we decided to make a trip to Kawaguchiko, recommended by Lili's colleague. Kawaguchiko is a small town near to mount Fuji, there is also a Kawaguchi lake. You can get here from Tokyo by bus which usually takes about 2 hours, but depending on traffic it can take even 4 hours.
We booked a room for one night in advance and as it turned out it was a good idea - the weather on Saturday was not very clear and mount Fuji was hard to see.

After a long walk we went to the onsen - a Japanese hot spring.

On the next day the weather was better and we went to Arakurayama park to see Chureito Pagoda. It has beautiful views on Fuji, but it is also very crowded.

Afterwards we hiked a bit in the park and went home to Tokyo.
