From Nice we moved to Cannes, it's just half an hour train ride.
We arrived in Cannes one day before the start of the film festival.
The preparations for the main event of the year were going on everywhere.
We didn't make it to the festival because our flight was on the next day and regular people are not allowed there anyway, it is only for film industry professionals.
Photographers are taking places.
The harbor is filled up with huge yachts, on many of them will be parties with celebrities.
In Cannes you feel yourself like a beggar, not at ease 😀
So many posh and expensive stuff around, but regular people are not invited.
Screens are set up on the beach where films from the festival will be played.
Modern art.
On the next day morning we went to a local open market - Marché Forville.
Here everything is as usual at european city markets - fruits, vegetables and some cooked food.
Some very good quiche pies and desserts were sold here.
Popular french dish - fried zucchini blossoms.
After the market we walked around the city for a bit more and went to Marseille, from where we had a flight to Spain.
Near Martinez Hotel crowds of fans are waiting for celebrities arrival.
